United by a common musical thread and the intention of bringing together soulful acoustic songs with global beats and traditional rhythms, Earthrhyme are challenging the listener to become lost in the ambient sound scapes of their powerful live performances.
Earthrhyme, becoming progressively bored with the typical electro guitar/ distortion/ wah wah sound that SO many bands are recycling, decided to keep their music clean, organic and Earthy (funny that).
This innovative quartet have been hiding away in the valleys of the southern Gold Coast hinterland building on their musical talents and drawing from a hybrid of influences from world music, roots music and traditional African rhythms to alternative rock, funk and metal.
The songs are written to inspire and awaken, moving between delicate melodies and dynamic, up-beat rhythms.
All four members of Earthrhyme have progressed through dozens of musical influences and now share a combined desire to create acoustic songs with emphasis on percussive, rhythmic expression.
Earthrhyme began its journey a few years ago as frequent living room jams grew more and more potential and life changing experiences found each member in line with their passion. The songs are written to inspire and awaken, moving between delicate melodies and dynamic, up-beat rhythms. The band recorded their first e.p in Nov- Dec 2005 before they found a drummer and are currently working on a new e.p.
