Bio

EASTEIGHTEEN is a four-piece, high-energy rock band from Iowa City, Iowa. Forged from the attitude and intensity of pure rock and roll, EASTEIGHTEEN is a band whose musical integrity is not compromised by its hook driven sensibility.

In early 2003, EASTEIGHTEEN released a five-song EP, Anathema, and embarked on a six-week West Coast tour playing venues in major cities including Los Angeles, Seattle, and Las Vegas and selling thousands of albums along the way.

In 2005, EASTEIGHTEEN recorded a new, full-length album, "In The Event That You’re Right," produced by Tom Tatman (producer for Stone Sour). The album helped secure a Budweiser True Music sponsorship as well as a distribution deal with retail chain Hot Topic.

In late 2008, EASTEIGHTEEN began work on their follow up to 2005’s “In The Event That You’re Right”. The new EP entitled, “Goodnight, Good Luck, Goodbye” is scheduled to be released mid-summer of 2009.

The band has built a loyal and supportive fan base all across the Midwest. Known for consistently putting on an entertaining and highly energetic live show, EASTEIGHTEEN has had the opportunity to share the stage with acts such as Hinder, Buckcherry, Hurt, Drowning Pool, Black Stone Cherry, Fair To Midland, Evans Blue, and many others.

EASTEIGHTEEN continues its nationwide effort to deliver powerful music to the masses and captivate audiences across the United States.
