Eastern Conference Champions

Eastern Conference Champions

BandRockPop

Ex-Laguardia, melodic, powerful rock music.

Biography

Fresh off the cover of a Wheaties Box, the Eastern Conference Champions are the gold medal winners of rock and roll.

The band from Bucks County, Pennsylvania was formed when longtime teammates Josh Ostrander (guitar, keys, vocals) and Greg Lyons (drums and synthesizers) left Republic/Universal recording artist Laguardia in June of 2004. A few months later they acquired the final champion in the eastern conference when Vern Zaborowski (bass, sampler) departed ways with CKY and joined the team.

The music of ECC can be described as a complex carbohydrate filled with melodical proteins to power a healthy diet of rock and roll. Hints of the Stones, Rufus Wainwright and The Police can be detected in the unique structure, style and presentation of the songs that makes ECC stand out from the rest. One avid fan of original musical eloquently stated, “If The Who and Mozart were to get in the ring and go twelve rounds, the bloody result that followed would be declared the Eastern Conference Champions.”

The trio has been busy gaining new fans and supporters of the franchise in Philadelphia and New York while preparing for the release of “The Southampton Collection” EP, due out in early September on Leftwing Recordings.

Eat your Wheaties; drink your milk and salute your Eastern Conference Champions.
