East West Trio

Dave Mercure - Berklee Graduate: Performs regularly in the Greater Boston area as a freelance artist and as a member of the East West Trio and East West Quartet. Also performs regularly in duo settings with Tom Pendergast at Johnny D's in Somerville, MA. Additionally, Dave performs with professional theater groups and Big Bands throughout the region.

Tom Pendergast - Berklee Graduate: Performs as a freelance artist and performs regularly with a number of recognized jazz groups including the East West Trio throughout the area. Tom has also established himself as a recognized guitar instructor throughout the region and also performs regularly as a solo artist.

Takuma Anzai - Berklee Graduate: An experienced session drummer and percussionist based in Boston, MA. Takuma has performed with a lot of artists and musicians from around the world, and he has developed his own unique style of drumming. Besides working on his solo career, Takuma joined many different bands in the USA including the award-winning band "Mission Hill" (Toucan Cove Records/Universal). He has shared the stage with Candlebox, Marcy Playground, WAR (Rock and Roll Hall of Fame), and Tim Reynolds & TR3 amongst many others.
