Eatliz carries on from Violently Delicate with the same high quality production and creativity that made them my year-end favourites last year. The music is still dense with interesting tempo changes and abstract lyrical meanings. - awmusic music magazine [Canada]

Eatliz makes Extremely dreamlike moments, with an oriental twist - Headquarter magazine [Germany]

“Lose This Child” is some heady, spooky prog rock off their new album Teasing Nature. It has an ever-so-slight Eastern folk twang on the melodies and acoustics in the verses. The chorus is really just a chance for the lead songstress Lee Triffon to show off those heart-wrenching high notes". - MTV Iggy

"Eatliz makes dreamy, atmospheric songs and imbuing them with complex and ornate arrangements and haunting vocals. And they have a Gorillaz-like alternate, altered universe of animated personae. Their new video, "Lose This Child," continues their tradition of creating spellbinding, envelope-pushing, effects-bending videos. Taken from their album Teasing Nature, "Lose This Child" recalls some of the quieter moments of Radiohead's OK Computer. The video, directed by Yuval & Merav Nathan, is a stop-motion tour de force, crafting an entire imaginary world out of sand, with turtles and other sea creatures rising out of the ground. It really needs to be seen to be believed". - MTV Buzzworthy

EATLIZ, AN indie band that first made its appearance on the Israeli music scene in 2002, recently achieved international acclaim by being one of 100 bands competing to earn a spot in the 2008 Lollapalooza Music Festival in Chicago alongside artists such as Radiohead and Kanye West.

To qualify for the Lollapalooza Last Band Standing competition, groups had until May to raise as many votes as possible from fans. The 100 bands with the most votes qualified for the next round, in which judges narrowed the field to 20 bands. Eatliz, while earning enough votes to qualify for the first round, was eliminated by the judges during round two.

Despite the band's failure to hit the stages of Lollapalooza, it was recently signed by Anova Records, another label aiming to advance non-mainstream Israeli music internationally, and will release its album, Violently Delicate, in August in Germany and Austria.

"Tiptoeing on salty sand / my pink glasses work so wonderfully / one more moment on / and it's gone," Eatliz sings during the introduction of the hit song "Attractive," from the new album. The chorus croons "Wherever you are, are / if you find me attractive / whoever you are / don't hesitate / everything's got to move on".

- Jenna Stark - The Jerusalem Post

"EATLIZ are a band of super musicians, that butcher in enjoyment every musical genre". - Maariv 5.7.07

"Forget the fact that Attractive is one of the best videos ever made in Israel, the good news is that EATLIZ are finally giving us a chance to listen to what's been cooking in their studio for so long". - Time Out Tel Aviv 12.3.2007

"After more than 10,000 views in Myspace and across the web, the new video of EATLIZ ... was accepted to the international animation Fsetival "AniMundi", with a nomination for best music video". - Nrg 13.5.2007

"In the annual animation contest for Israeli animation artists, EATLIZ's video Attractive won first prize for best music video". - Haaretz online 30.8.2007

"By simple definition, EATLIZ plays an energetic variety of rock, jazz and a bit of metal. In reality, we are talking about a big hypnotic musical jorney... The quality of the musicians in the band is one of the best in the middle east". - Walla 10.9.2007

The band is fronted again by the lovely Lee Triffon who ignites a wild fireworks of creativity and diversity, happy and leaves you smiling. Triffon is probably the biggest wild card of this chapel. Times charming, sometimes childlike, sometimes bitchy, sometimes sexy, sometimes naive, sometimes fragile, sometimes cocky, sometimes cynical, sarcastic, or disturbing, like an angel or even the diva – this lady has a vocal range and charisma so much that it inspired falls into gasping - Musikreviews Magazine [Germany]

The new Album by Eatliz made me start believing that there are Israeli Bands who sing in English and are capabale of playing original material that makes you think and feel at the same time.

... This album was made by a group of musicians who are super talented. -

I was seduced by this album upon first listen. The Eatliz madness combine sweet, bitter and sophisticated uconventional performance, who offer us a complex and indefinable pop / rock - Magic Fire Music magazine [France]
