Lyrics

Takes Two

Written By: Daniela Antlova

Look at me
Walking slow
Shaking hands
It’s no home/
I Try so hard
Best I can
Be your friend
I do too!

My might long gone
What do you say
Do you say
Let’s move on/
Why should I care
There’s so much
To be loved
Move on

Bright as the sun
Drown my brain
In the fumes
Build a wall/
I have said and done
all you asked
I have done
it all

Why
Tell me why
In this place
Tell me why
What went wrong?

I feel hopeful
Until the next time you let me down
I feel hopeful
Until the next time you let me down

Words No words
No more words
Let it go
Hate the words/
Again so mute
Hurts my heart
My good heart
Are you proud?

Let me go
What you do
Is so wrong
Is so wrong/
Think again
What you want
Is so wrong
Is so wrong

Are you even here
When I speak
Even know
What you feel/
All up to you
In your hands
in your head
Just deal!

What
Tell me what
In this place
Tell me what
is real?

Will You Marry Me

Written By: eat the weeds

will you marry me now that i've burnt down my choices
will you marry me now that i no longer speak
will you marry me now that my thoughts do not stray
will you marry me now that i'm hopelessly week

will you marry me now that you cast my shadow
will you marry me now that i'm protected and sweet
will you marry me now that i grow pretty flowers
will you marry me now that my questions have ceased

will you marry me now you've put your hand on my shoulder
will you marry me now you've dusted dirt off my cheeks
will you marry me now you put an end to my sorrow
will you marry me now the gravel is grief

In My Fading Memory

Written By: eat the weeds

in my fading memory i focus on the glory of your mind
i have this theory that you got lost in forest deep and dark
spell on, you spell on me, hostility bad dreams waking me, can’t stand the bitter taste

so my mind is not a train wreck and my mother held my hand through crying times
so i celebrate my birthday when the sun is burning high up in the sky
i’m no longer sad to be one of many in your tale, like you said to me ...

chorus
how do i explain this thing i never wanted to happen to you and me
it’s so very recent i’m still not used to being that person you see
in my heart, in my heart i still feel...
in your heart in your heart what do you see...?

in your faded memory there’s little left but shouts and screams and scorn
maybe it’s just me since a whole damn city is gone!
i’m not going to stick around to watch you cry and break your own heart and mine again and again and again and again

chorus

in my fading memory i focus on the glory of your mind
