"Rollicking good-times from Hard rock crew"

Eazy does it! Hell, there’s hardly time to lick your lips before ‘Bone’ is tossed in front of you, accompanied by a barrage of pounding drums, sharp riffage and catchy choruses.

That opening number sets the tone for what turns out to be a fun and hook-infused record. Eazy Tyger is a beast with varied stripes: from Motörhead and Guns N’ Roses to Mötley Crue and Foo Fighters.

Thing is, Earn Your Stripes rarely lets up. With their fast-paced riffs and sing-a-long choruses, the Dublin four-piece tear through 10 tracks of classic hard rock, replenished with a distinctly modern twist. ‘Round & Round’ is one stripe that catches the eye. With its prowling bass, brash chorus and howling guitar, it has potential radio hit written all over it.

Have they earned their stripes? Put it this way: this is one Tyger that you won’t mind grappling with.

Bio

Formed in 2009 Eazy Tyger quickly became a force to be reckoned with as a live act in their native Dublin, Ireland. Earning a reputation in Dublin’s underground venues due to high octane, relentless performances was however only the beginning.

After successful stints as the house band for two of the city’s
premier rock venues, (Fibber McGees & Gypsy Rose) the band entered historic Westland recording studios teaming up with renowned Irish producer Alwyn Walker (Glyder/Gama Bomb).

In late 2011 Eazy Tyger launched their debut album “Earn your Stripes” to a sold out crowd in Dublin's Crawdaddy. It’s has been met with acclaim from critics and fans alike spanning the globe. The release garnered the attention of Ireland leading rock station “Radio Nova” who selected Eazy Tyger to be the first band featured for their “Nova Recommends”.segment

2012 saw the four piece grow from strength to strength and in popularity after support slots with the likes of Crashdiet and “Mama’s Boys” guitarist Pat MacManus as well as playing such venues as Whelans, The Button Factory and The Academy for the first time. “Earn your Stripes” has been picked up by shops from Dublin to Tokyo and the album’s lead single 83’ has been showcased on Irish, North and South American, UK and continental European radio stations.

The second half of 2012 saw the band release music videos from “Earn Your Stripes” and performing brand new songs on the road.

The band filmed a live DVD this past September which is set for a 2013 release, and five songs from the record have been placed on all Rock/Indie venue jukebox’s in Dublin.

Eazy Tyger has also been announced as the resident band for Club Poison, Ireland biggest weekly hard rock night.
