EB Rebel will be the first to admit she's still new to the rap game. Until a few years ago, the real-life Ebonie Tave was on the fast track to law school, but thanks to the combination of a floundering economy, shortage of jobs in law and an overwhelming urge to create, EB put her legal dreams on hold to focus on her music. She seems to have adjusted pretty well, as one of her tracks, “Don’t Care,” was picked by BET filmmakers to be featured in their documentary Stay Woke: The Black Lives Matter Movement, which was released last month. - Dallas Observer
