Here She Comes

Written By: E.B. Hawkins

Here She Comes

Character expressed, the moment of arrival
I could not resist, escape was not an option
Hold on to your dreams, hold on to me

I was taken aback by your approach
I hardly had a chance to go
Time was suspended, forever started now

Called away with a whisper, stars collide
Spill my heart through the ocean we divide

You really were the one for me
(Here she comes, here she comes)
I really was the one for you
(There she goes, there she goes)

You slipped silently into the room
Not a breath of reservation
I recall what they said about you
You had a very quiet reputation

My last look in your eyes and I could see
I was alone and you were free

You really were the one for me
(Here she comes, here she comes)
I really was the one for you
(There she goes, there she goes)
(Repeat)

Out of this world you walked and took a piece of me with you
I will fall from view

You really were the one for me
(Here she comes, here she comes)
I really was the one for you
(There she goes, there she goes)
(Repeat)

I Want You

Written By: E.B. Hawkins

I Want You

Ten years later, and summer turns to fall
Heavy sheets go on the bed, soup goes on the stove
The cat’s got a new coat, and so do you
I can’t wait to slip it off and get a hold of you

Burn the bridges, crash the car … I’ll be there
Star at the sky wherever you are … I’ll be next to you
When you slip into the room, you take my breath away
Baby I want you

The sound of your voice on the telephone
It drives me wild, it calls me home
Push open the door, pull back the sheet
It starts out hot, then you turn up the heat

Carry the water all the way …
Step by step, day by day … I’ll be next to you
When you slip into the room, you take my breath away
Baby I want you

Molly Please

Written By: E.B. Hawkins

Molly Please

Give it up, give it up, let it go, let it go, give it up, get on with it
Give it up, give it up, let it go, let it go, give it up, let it go

After three long years and too many tears
My brother and you have called it quits
You would indicate the choice was mutual
He would indicate the choice was his

Now he parades a suitable replacement
You imply it’s an ordinary day
All of a sudden there’s destiny between us
I hadn’t noticed, what changed today

Molly please … What do you need from me

You make an offer that holds a great attraction
It’s a compliment, if it’s nothing else
But when I consider the situation’s reputation
I’m outta here, I’m gonna run like hell

We look alike, but we’re surely not the same man
I would have fought relentlessly for peace
You can’t decide in retrospect that I was the one for you
Don’t call me … please
Molly please …. What do you need from me

We look alike, but we’re surely not the same man
I would have fought relentlessly for peace
You can’t decide in retrospect that I was the one for you
Don’t call me … please
Molly please …. What do you need from me

Hold Out Your Hand

Written By: E.B. Hawkins

For a long time
More than months, maybe years
You and I have known where we should be
I don’t think you’re playing games
Let me know for sure
If the time is right for me to step right through the door

Hold out your hand, if you want to be free
Hold out your hand, if you want to be with me
Hold out your hand

I can’t tell you
How I’m longing for the day
When all this shy behavior is undone
We will have the hottest nights, the longest coolest days
Won’t you reach out and let me know that the past is gone

Hold out your hand, if you want to be free
Hold out your hand, if you want to be with me
Hold out your hand, please
Hold out your hand
Hold out your hand
Hold out your hand …
