Bio

Passionate singer/songwriter, E-Bone, is making a brand new start with her brand new persona and brand new single, De†ox! In the midst of gaining more exposure for independent releases, “Make It Count” and “Metamorphosis”, the artist formerly recognized as Ebony Moore, decided to undergo a complete transformation. Compelled by the desire for change, she boldly shed her bohemian style of flowing... dreadlocks for a shortened naturally sculpted coiffure. In an artistic rebirth and expressing a subtle disregard to her birth name, she is now becoming known by the pseudonym, E-Bone. She explains, “I wanna be reachable to my audience and show them that I worry, fear and hurt just like anybody else and I'm not just looking to inspire others but I wanna be inspired. I aspire to make lots of new friends on this journey. All of my peeps call me E-Bone, so everyone else should too.” Previously represented by publicists Florence Edwards in Los Angeles and JJ Kane in the UK, she has made appearances on The Creative Soul Show with John R. Williams of Chicago, The Dedan Tolbert Show of Philadelphia, Light On Light Through Podcast with Paul Levinson in New York, as well as featured on select radio stations in the UK. After unsuccessful contracts with Atlan-Dec Music Publishing in Atlanta and Two Lost Cities Distribution in Minneapolis, she is looking forward to a new beginning and brighter future.

E-Bone believes she is destined to shine in music. Since receiving her first keyboard and writing her very first song at the age of ten, she has written more than eight hundred songs. She says, “I love composing and being able to express myself through music. It's very therapeutic for me. I started by writing about any and everything, happy or sad. Now, I'm writing more of the really deep emotional stuff that I'm feeling and I know it's for a purpose. I get through some of my toughest times by writing, so I create whenever it hits me, even if it's at 3am.” E-Bone was first influenced musically by her father, an aspiring musician and music lover and her mother, a songstress and writer as well. After studying music and pursuing the soul of it for sixteen years, E-Bone has finally found her niche. With her undeniably unique voice and style blending with r&b, pop and rock, E-Bone's music is sure to lift spirits. It's evident in her heartfelt performances that it is definitely a calling! It's a calling so great that it cannot be confined to just music alone. E-Bone is also a gifted screenwriter, actress and abstract artist with huge ambition. She is collaborating with Creative Entertainment & Media Inc. in Los Angeles as a TV/Film writer for CEO/Executive Producer, Bidwell C. Tyler II and Emmy Award Winning Executive Producer, Susan B. Flanagan who calls her a “Renaissance” woman.

E-Bone's new single, De†ox, produced by J. Red of Soul Mop Music Group will touch anyone but is geared towards some courageous female listeners. She notes, “It's a song dedicated to battered women. As a survivor and advocate, it's important for me to speak out against domestic violence or Intimate Partner Violence (IPV). However, I do not want to put too much light on the actual abuse but more so on the overcoming part of my life! It's a song I believe God has given me to encourage my sisters in their time of need.”
