Bio
Ebon Pinion is a Hardcore/Metalcore band from Nashville, Tennessee. Blazing solos assault the ears from every angle and a super heavy tone they like to call the, "Mid-Range Thud" blasts through their amps. They started their crusade in October of 2005 when the two guitarists were in 7th grade, under the alias "Line of Fire." They played their first show 6 months after forming. Because of the mix of high school and family, their shows have been fairly limited until quite recently.
2008 has been a big year for the guys in Ebon Pinion. From an amazing performance in the school talent show and the aprehension of a new lead singer, to the loss of their drummer(new drummer still pending), things have been going crazy. They look forward to 2009 and see a possible show at local hot spot "Rocketown" in February.
Once you hear their songs, you realize that they have alot of talent. They are heavily influenced by guitarists like Jason Becker, Paul Gilbert, Steve Vai, and Yngwie Malmsteen. The songs themselves, however, are more in a metalcore genre, similar to Bullet for my Valentine, Atreyu, and other heavy bands like Trivium, Killswitch Engage, and All That Remains. However, the only way to really know what they sound like is to listen and see for yourself.
