this is alternative pop with a little touch of new folk. the instruments weave a colorfull mist around the catchy whether beautiful and sad songs.
she's been compared to cat power, feist and beth gibbons, comparisons are easily made and don't really say much but you can conclude echo beatty is a strong female performer with a remarkable voice. she's found the four humblest men, all multi-intrumentalists who can make sparks with their hands, to accompany her on her non-stop search for music that fills your chest, a sound the listener can inhale.

echo beatty or annelies van dinter is at her best on the road and the past two years she's had great touring experiences as a live member of indie-electronic band styrofoam (released several albums on morr music and is now signed on the USA label 'nettwerk') in Europe, the UK and the States. she's been doing backing vocals for neeka, a belgian new folk band, since she was eighteen years old. and last but not least she sings and plays korg in the eclectic psychedelic rock band 'deadsets'.
