Echo-Riot was formed in Barrie, Ontario early 2005 by Reid Henry and friends as a way to express and the boredom's and frustrations of small town teenagers.
"After several years of playing the same bars in front of the same people, I felt there was more to be had from Rock music, so I left school and home and moved to a downtown Toronto rehearsal space, which to me was like the MIT of Rock and roll. Thanks to the indispensable & ongoing help & advice from My Darkest Days, Rise for Order and others, the band was able to really move forward "
After being introduced to a more International side of Canada's music scene the band matured and developed a more professional attitude towards performance, recording and song writing.
Now after hundreds of shows, dozens of smashed guitars, and several band members sent home for good, Echo-Riot is ready to make its impact on the worlds stage.
