Bio

Echo Road - The Band
On any given road you travel, there are people and places who make each turn and stop a moment remembered or created!

Down Stringer's Bridge:
It was a cold January afternoon in Wisconsin. An impromptu jam with some unknown friends produced the nucleus for the coming musical fusion. It was then that Mick and Rod met and combined forces to explore other avenues neither had traversed earlier in time.

Mick's Zeppelin-esque textures of sound and Rodney's progressive drum stylings, laid the pavement for Rodney's forward vocal ventures. Every turn in the road made for a different musical vista. A little more than a year went by when Rodney moved to a tree lined road outside of the forest. It was shortly after that when He and Mick were befriended by some musical residents, Dave and Jim, who happened to live down that same road. Immediately a musical fusion of each's style formed the blend of Rock that is prominently heard today.

The Echo Road Sound was finally realized with the addition of a long time friend of Mick's from earlier musical ventures, Medium Rayer. Mead had a HUGE hand in getting the studio up to productive operating standards.

We are currently preparing a live show and beginning pre-production on our next release (yet to be titled). We all look forward to a long road of music and friendship. No matter which way you turn or how far you go, you can always have a good time....down on Echo Road.
