"Identity (album review)"

". . . Ryoko gives more than an impression that she is as skilled as mighty voices like Bjork and Tori Amos. . . Tony's arrangements give the music the depth a voice like Ryoko needs. Identity is like a complex carpet of shapes, delicate and very pleasing to the ears. . ."

"Fan Comments - MUSIC"

What the fans are saying about our CD:

- [The CD's] here and i love it. . . Even though some tracks just break your heart. thank you.

- You get more beautiful day by day... Each moment of hearing your music send me into a deep trance.. and I almost loose myself sometimes.. to get that kinda reaction out of someone.. is powerful. I hope you never.. ever quit what you are doing now. You have such dynamics.. and such a sound... that I never get sick of listening to you all.... Its amazing... Keep creating, keep stiring up this elixer that I have needed for so long. You keep me going!!! thank you for being you...

- Taut, crystalline drama propelled by thumpin' beats. Electronica with a heart. Don't miss the stealth songwriting smarts. Delicious. . .

- Seductive. . .

- You have a really strong sense of the space of the song and the placement of all of the elements is very effective. Sweet! - MySpace.com

"Identity (album review)"

". . . a great mix of beautiful and intelligent lyrics, some dark and melodic music and a healthy dose of groovy beats. I find myself listening to it twice in a row every time I pop it in. . . I can always tell when music is really good by whether I like a CD more the more times I hear it. Identity by Echostream is just such a CD. . ."

Bio

Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.
- Ralph Waldo Emerson

Think of a film, then think of the soundtrack for that film. If the film you have called into your mind is suspenseful and full of vivid imagery, then you have begun to imagine the perfect home for the electro-rock style of echostream.

Often compared to Björk, Evanescence, and Nine Inch Nails, Echostream has created a refreshingly unique style in a world full of cookie-cutter bands and pop-wannabes. This is due in part to Tony and Ryoko’s classical training, and in part to their intense desire to walk down the path less traveled. This is a band that is not interested in following in the wake of others. They are instead focused on forging new paths through the forest.

Echostream’s debut album Identity (Force of Change Records), was well received by fans and critics, and songs have been featured on TV in the US. The band is currently working on a follow-up album that draws from elements of the first, but will certainly take emotions to new levels of intensity.

They are now booking shows around the world to spread there virus to the multitudes. Fans can expect extreme energy and passion from this band that takes their live shows very seriously.
