Point of Life

Written By: Ken Ogden

POINT OF LIFE
Words flow, out of the soul and in it rolls like thunder. Wide open door, it’s a feeling be it.
Careful, raise the home to hold the roof I’m under, of what I ask for, it’s a ceiling feel it
It’s brighter, look at it fast before it puts you under, on the bright side, and know it’s good to be here.
We’ll try, here’s the heart of a jealous lover, for the last ride, it’s the need to release.

Never been on the ebb and flow of water, never been known to try and be a better man
Though I’m doing what I can.
I never was asked to be the Holy Father, never been one to have the chains around my hands.

So think twice, I don’t know if I can make it easy, of our last time, with all these queasy feelings.
How high, lost in the turn before the intersection, were we this time, and now the wheels are turning
God I, on my knees and down before my father, have got my eyes wide, I can see him, feel him.

We’ll try, I won’t see you in the place your leaving, it’s a free ride, it’s just a need to release.
Never been told to go against the author, never been told to come save you when you drown

By the looks in this town
It’s an adequate tone that I can speak so often, I’ve never been one to come and raise you with my hands……..so

be careful what you ask for, you never know what you might find so make a point about your life.

Just believe that I can make it happen, just believe that I can make it all work out….without a doubt

Just you know that I can make it happen, just you know I’ve got my fingers on the strings.

So watch the world implode, be careful what you ask for. You never know what you might find
It’s time to make a point about your life…

Be careful what you ask for.

Digging Down Deeper

Written By: Ken Ogden

I’m your sore, I’m your stain, I’m your afterthought
I’m your gorge, I’m the drain, I’m digging down deeper

Yet I don’t feel so bad,
And I don’t feel so bad, as you watch me turn
And you make it worse, you make it worse, when you make me bleed
You make it worse, you make it worse., when you try to leave

I’m your whore, I’m your pain, I’m shaping you quickly,
I’m your god, I’m your vain, I’m digging down deeper
And I don’t feel so bad, now I watch you learn
And I wont feel so bad, as I start to turn Let’s just not panic please, or act hysterically things are just fine To overreact is a serious crime indeed.
You’re not imagining, you’ve understandably stepped out of your mind To overreact is a serious crime indeed.

I’m your choice, I’m you brain, turning and turning
I’m your soul, I’m your sane, digging down deeper
And I don’t feel so bad, as you start to burn And I wont feel so bad…catch me I’m turning

Now you’ve made it worse, you’ve made it worse, this is what we are

Now you’ve made it worse, you’ve made it worse…this is your new life.
