Bio

Eddie Martin was born and raised in the Northwestern corner of Alabama, only one county away from the cotton fields, Tennessee River, and the deep soulful grooves of Muscle Shoals music. He has earned gold and platinum sales awards for his songwriting work with Motown artist, Brian McKnight and was also honored to have his song, “Listen for the Wings” adopted by the state of Alabama as the official gift of hope to the citizens of Colorado following the Columbine school tragedy. His song, “I’m Gone”, was chosen for inclusion on the “Best of the Songwriters Hall of Fame Showcase” compilation CD, which is produced by the National Academy of Popular Music/Songwriters Hall of Fame. He manages his own publishing company and, along with partner Daniel Beard, owns The Nightshift, an independent music production company.
