Bio

Throughout her musical career, Singer-songwriter and pianist Eden's Rose has graced the stages of popular venues including Toronto Centre for the Arts, Hard Rock Cafe, Hugh's Room, TD Centre, and the Listening Room in Nashville, where she opened for hit country songwriter, Gerald Smith (Lorrie Morgan, George Strait, George Jones) in 2008. She has recently returned to Canada after a two month spring tour of New England.

In 2005, she released a self-titled album under her original name, Nelly Shin. Her album was produced by Brian Gagnon, who recorded Shania Twain in her early career. Her first single, "Marrow of My Heart" received airplay on AC radio in North Amercia and landed a spot on the recommended rotation list of Eric Norberg's radio consulting journal, The Adult Contemporary Music Research Letter (August 2005).

The name Eden's Rose was conceived shortly after Easter in 2009. Her first major project under her new artist name is an instrumental classical music soundtrack, Paradise Memoirs (2010).

Later in 2010, she released a Christmas single which has received airplay in Toronto, California, and the Maritimes. Her song, "Till You Came for Me My King" landed her another spot on the recommended rotation list of Norberg's AC Music Research Letter. This single is part of her new EP, Heaven's Best, a compilation of love songs which showcases not only her songwriting and vocal offerings but her artistry as a producer.

Eden's Rose was trained classically on the piano from age 8 and received a Bachelor of Music from the University of Toronto. Soon after her graduation, Eden's Rose flourished as a Gospel singer in the Toronto church community and appeared on Canadian national television (CTV, Vision, and Omni).

Her passion for popular music was honed in her youth while listening to soft pop artists like Dan Fogelberg, Crystal Gayle, David Foster, Whitney Houston, Chicago, and Dan Hill.
