Bio

Between their suits and their sound Edens Unknown harkens back to rock and roll blues bands of an earlier era. The latest incarnation of the group formed in late 2008 and played their first gig in early January of 2009 at the Wilma Theater in Philadelphia. Here they won the Wilma Theatre 2009 Battle of the Bands, sponsered by PECO - along with $4000. Its not often that you come across a teenage blues band that takes home $4,000 for their first paycheck, but Edens Unknown did just that. They wrote all new songs as a full, five-piece blues band to win the event. Edens Unknown's first demo was recorded in February of 2009 containing four songs some written weeks and some days before recording. All songs were recorded live in under 6 hours. EU is still writing more songs; as a solidified, five-piece band. The boys first live recording and their new studio single are being made available at their performances at International Blues Challenge. The group has played numerous local and out of state venues with their all-original sets exciting audiences where ever they play.
