Biography

Ed E. Ruger also known as E-DOT has been taking the Carolina hip hop scene by storm. As a Greensboro native this rapper represents his hometown the 336 like none other.

Once a battle rapper, Ed E. Ruger, with his freestyles took over the Carolina’s underground hip hop culture. His in your face style and crowd hyping ability landed him the 2002 Rhyme Warz champion, undefeated. After hanging up the towel, he pursued a co-hosting spot on the “Millennium View” and hosted the “Dot Spot” portion of the “Nickie Brown Variety Show” while recording his mix tape “Tha Southern Bull”.

Since the completion of Ed E. Ruger’s debut album “Shots from tha Ruger”, Ed E. Ruger as shared the stage with hip hop legends. In April of 2006, Ed E. Ruger opened an almost sold out venue for KRS-One at Ziggy’s in Winston-Salem, NC. In August of 2006, Ed E. Ruger performed with the Wu-Tang Clan at the Millennium Center in Winston-Salem, NC.
