“Support tonight comes firstly from hometown boys Edgar Prais who are celebrating tonight the anniversary of their first ever gig by screaming at the top of their voices over a pleasant glam number entitled ‘Sloppy Drunk Boys’. There’s nothing sloppy about their performance though - there’s a tightness that belies their time together, made all the more impressive by the way they thrash around the stage, keeping perfect time at all times. They finish by playing two disco-stompers to a crowd that has octupled in size, the last of which leads one happy lady to remark “that was fucking classic!” She’s not wrong.” - Culture Deluxe

“Casting my net slightly further north, to the sunny climes of Aberdeen, I just got a demo through from three guys calling themselves Edgar Prais. If Modest Mouse were jamming with Teenage Fanclub in Rivers Cuomo’s basement, the results would bear some similarity to the punchy, crunchy pop these tykes make. I was so excited by the demo, I jumped on a flight to see them supporting our boys The Twang. They didn’t disappoint. Seriously, they’re one of the most energetic new bands in the UK.” - Paul Harris - A&R B-Unique Records

Brilliant, boisterous Aberdeen trio who do jerky, shouty indie-pop to perfection on Sloppy Drunk Boys. Could easily have The View’s terrace appeal. - John Earls
