Edge of Nowhere

BandRock

Edge of Nowhere is a hard rock band that deals with the situations we find ourselves in every day, and our personal need for a Savior. Anyone can identify with our music because at some point in life, everyone will find themselves at the Edge of Nowhere (dun-dun-daaaaaaaaaaaaa).

Biography

Edge of Nowhere is a hard rock band that has been together for five years. Their music features dueling guitar leads, three-part harmonies akin to “Broadway with a hangover,” a drummer who plays like espresso beans are a permanent staple in his diet, and a bass that sounds like Godzilla clearing his throat. Their epic music has rattled the foundations of the Welch home (sorry Mom and Dad) for many years. As of late the band members have decided to crawl out of the basement and share with all, the joy they have found in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
The band started off like a '78 Chevy; various starts, stops and sputters. After deciding not to pursue certain avenues including pop-punk and boy band, Jonah and Leo began to produce a style of music that reflected influences ranging from artists such as Freddy Mercury to Godsmack. Once they convinced their drummer to stop playing “Clocks” by Coldplay, Luke found himself writing beats ranging from funk to straight-up metal. Jonah and Luke's “big” brother Noah joined the band two years after its formation. He brings a unique bass growl that adds nothing but ego to the overall sound of the band.
The members of Edge of Nowhere seek to reflect the artistry of God through their music.
