Bio
Edie Green was created about a year ago when front woman (of the same name) teamed up with masterful drummer Tyler, guitar shredster Conor and groovy bassman Lachie. The band takes a sweeping pop folk style, mashing it together with a unique surf rock vibe. Together they have played with the likes of Timothy Nelson and the Infidels, Morgan Bain and Old Blood. Their first single Inside gained attention on the Triple J Unearthed radio station receiving much air-play and a selection as a top 5 song of the week by Dom Alessio. The band has also had much success in the recent National Campus Band Competition, winning the state final and coming 2nd in the grand final held in Canberra.
Their most recent single release, Southern Palms, was also well received again earning the band triple J unearthed radio play as well as gaining the number 1 song in Live and Local 89.7's poll for top 20 WA songs of the year.
Edie Green have received much praise for their live performance, coming finalists in the RAW Independent Musicians award in 2013. The band is currently working on an EP for release mid-year.
