Bio

Edison switch began when four guys led by David Sheller decided to try and be the best pop punk / rock group they could be. They poured their musical influences into a melting pot that brewed their first release Leaving Transition. It soon became a success dropping 1000's of downloads off iTunes as well as other digital sites and keeping the boys busy with concert dates playing venues ranging from the very small to the very large.

Having opened for such groups as Six Pence None the Richer, Superchick, Waterdeep, and many others Edison Switch was on the rise. But, as individuals the members were feeling the urge for something more. So, David made the difficult decision to break up the group and rebuild. The guys are forever grateful of the opportunity to come together as they did. Fulfillment however, would be found in the next chapter of this bands story.

After taking a year off to listen to everything he could get his hands on and writing as much as possible David new it was time to bring Edison Switch back in a new and powerful way. For the first time the band would have to female members; Lauran on Drums and Brook providing Organ, Moog and some samples.

Edison Switch is now a powerful 3-piece ensemble pouring out a passion that is deep in their souls.
Edison Switch will be releasing a new album in the fall. This will be the beginning of fulfillment.

Edison Switch has appeared in venues of all sizes, all over the country. Some more notable ones are:
The Schottenstien Center, Ohio State University
St. Louis Convention Center, St. Louis, MO
