Lyrics
Beautiful
Written By: Edith Wallace
Beautiful
We're going grey
Round the edges anyway
Both feel the marching of time
But when I look at you
Every day, there's something new
So maybe we're finer, like wine
And life is beautiful
I don't fear truth
Never now, or in my youth
Would I ever win the beauty prize
but when you look at me
All the passion that I see
In the love that's reflected in your eyes
Says I am beautiful
I never dreamed this could be
the truth that's living in you and me
How could we both have known
How far we've come
How strong we've grown
It's all beautiful
When I first saw you
What's a teenage girl to do
Your smile.... took my breath away
All these years passing by
In the blink of an eye
But I want and love you more today
and that is beautiful
I never dreamed this could be
The truth that's living in you and me
Darlin' just take my hand
To journeys unknown
This life unplanned
It's all beautiful
I love you, Beautiful
This life is beautiful

A Woman Is A Flower
Written By: Edith Wallace
A Woman Is A Flower
A woman is a flower
A blossom in the Spring
All the wonder and the promise
Of the sweetest fruit she’ll bring
And the wind comes rushing through her
And all her petals sing
She’s a dark, rich soil
She’s the Sunlight from Above
Oh, a woman is a garden, made for love
A woman is a flower
Honeysuckle on the vine
In the lazy heat of summer
She’s a nectar, sweet as wine
If you lean a little closer
Around you she will twine
She’s a dark rich soil
She’s the Sunlight from Above
Oh, a woman is a garden, made for love
Just a little bit peace
A little bit of care
And you touch her tenderly
She can fill an empty heart
Bless a tired soul
She’ll love you endlessly
A woman is a flower
Blushed with pink, a rose
Leaves you heady in her fragrance
Leaves you breathless in her glow
And in Autumn’s sweet unfolding
A woman surely knows
She’s a dark rich soil
She’s the Sunlight from Above
Oh, a woman is a garden made for love
Just a little bit of peace
And a little bit of care
And you touch her
You touch her tenderly
When Winter winds stop calling
And the last cold snow has fallen
And you open up your heart to see
She’s a dark rich soil
She’s the Sunlight from Above
Oh a woman is a garden made for love
