Effetto Catherine is planning the 2011 italian live tour to promote its brand new records "COLORI DELUXE" (available for download on itunes), after the great feedback of its debut EP ("EFFETTO CATHERINE, EP 2010") with public and critics: "A strong, brillant and lively work, a new interesting input for a music genre yet be born" has been said about it by Rockit, italian music historic magazine.
The duo will perform in Rome, Perugia, Padova, Cesena, Pisa, Bologna, Firenze, Prato and more.
It is definitely impossible to label its track, as the components' style is personal and spontaneous.
This project sprang up in 2009 as a need for growth. Catherine's sound comes to life trought GIUSEPPE CASSARO piano and DAVIDE IACONO's drum: some of jazz influence, some of '90s postrock, some of classic soundtrack, some of experimental electronic music.
In 2010 Effetto Catherine has performed in Rome, Pisa, Perugia, Taranto, Ragusa, sharing the stage with important italian artists, such as Moltheni and AmorFou.

GIUSEPPE CASSARO: piano.
He is a movie soundtrack composer. He has shared the stage with renowned musicians of the italian music scene (Moltheni and AmorFou) and he is actually working at the soundtrack of the movie "La strada verso casa", Samuele Rossi's direction, a 2011 EchiVisivi and BlueFilm production - where the main characters are the 2007 "David di Donatello Award" Giorgio Colangeli, Alessandro Marverti, seen in "Romanzo Criminale", and Roberta Caronia.
In 2010, in collaboration with NastroAzzurro, as sponsor of the 67th Venice Film Festival, he composed the music for its web reporter.
He has composed the original soundtrack for the short movie "I bambini hanno gli occhi" (Rome 2009, Antonio De Palo' s direction, special guest Giancarlo De Santi, assistent director of Sergio Leone) which has been nominated to several international festivals: Cooming Soon Tv, Epizephiry International Film Festival, I'VE SEEN FILMS, 242 Short Film Festival, and many more.
In 2008, for the exibition in memory of Giorgio Kienerk, he created the music for the documentary by Gianluca Paoletti "Giorgio Kienerk: from Tuscany to Europe".
He produces music for private and industrial commercials.

DAVIDE IACONO: drums, microkorg.
He has shared the stage with Moltheni, AmorFou, Cesare Basile and Battiato and he has partecipated to the making of "Ingrediente Novus", the album that celebrates Moltheni's 10 years career.
In November 2010 he followed songwriter Stead in the "Rought European Tour", and performed kive in London, Prague, Brussels, Amsterdam, Berlin and in other minor cities.
He has been shot by BalconyTv Hamburg and BalconyTv Prague.
