"Selected Testimonials"

"EIGHT DAYS OF BLUES graciously performed at the Jefferson Highlights Summer Concert series at Camp Jefferson on August 30, 2008. The audience was enthralled by their incredible renditions of not only their originals but traditional covers. The musicianship of the group was phenomenal. People clamored for more... The band expressed their versatility and everybody … had their own solos. This is definitely a band recommended for blues-rock or rockin' blues if producers or townships are looking to fill a niche other than typical rock-and-roll covers. They're definitely one of a kind!" - Art Bonito, president, Jefferson Highlights Community Television

"Your rockn' blues style had the crowd tapping their feet and bobbing their heads along with the groove. We got great feedback by those who attended your concert. People have told us that they enjoyed your performance, and they especially liked Eight Days Of Blues' distinct adaptations of the cover songs you performed. Thank you for being part of SCCC's best Thursdays on the Green yet!" - Bryan Zellmer, Assistant Cultural Affairs Director Sussex County Community College

"What a night when EIGHT DAYS OF BLUES came to play at the Neversink Valley Area Museum! Everyone had a rollicking good time: the dancing on the lawn and call for three encores is testament to that." - Seth Goldman, executive director, Neversink Valley Area Museum, Cuddiebackville, NY

Bio

Our blues is Texas, Chicago, Delta, with touches of funk, Latin and Jazz thrown in. Influences include: Butterfield Blues Band, John Hammond, Andres Segovia, Larry Carlton, Mark Naftalin, Carl Palmer, Charlie Watts, ZZ Top, Led Zeppelin, Skynyrd, Albert King, and BB King. We feature original tunes written by band members and arranged by the band. The classic blues tunes we do are arranged to fit our sound and style. We enjoy performing.

Eight Days of Blues started in 2004 and evolved to the current lineup with two drummers and four lead singers, which adds diversity to our sound. Our band members live in northwestern New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. We are a dedicated, professional group who enjoys the energy that travels between the stage and crowd.
