Bio
His name is Ejay Johnson Native of Norfolk, Virginia, son of a Baptist Minister songwriter, and executive producer/owner of Glorified Gospel Recordings in Denver Colorado.
Developing and spotlighting numerous gospel talent over the years, Ejay now puts pen to paper releasing his first exclusively-written EP, 'Songs in the Key of Christ', featuring the smashing single, 'Thank You Jesus', sung by James Jrob Roberson.
Songwriting since the mere age of nine and winning amateur competitions across the nation, Ejay took a job working for a local record label, MDL Records as a young adult in Hawaii. His song writing abilities were put to the test, and in 1992, MDL Records Radio station charted Ejay's song in 7th place out of the top 50 songs in the state of Hawaii.
Throughout his career, Ejay has collaborated with distinguished names, including award-winning producer Gordon Banka, Music Director and brother in law of the Late Marvin Gaye, and Tennyson Stevens, music director for the late Minnie Rippleton
When he's not Songwriting or Producing, you can find Ejay sipping on a Venti, sweetened black iced tea at Starbucks, spoiling his wife and daughter with a home-cooked meal from his limited 3-4 recipe collection.
