MEXICO

Written By: TARU JAYSON MAILEE

MEXICO
The palm trees danced like in a show
The sun raised its head up real slow
And I held you as you were lying close to me
Listening to the birds fly over the sea
You & I we were lovers back then
When we got home it all came to an end
There’s never any time for us to be alone
When I want to see you I have to text you’re phone

SO LET’S GO BACK TO MEXICO
WATCH THE SUN SETS COME AND GO
WHERE SAND SHINES JUST LIKE GOLD
AND I CAN HOLD YOU AS THE NIGHT GROWS COLD
WE’LL THE HEAR WAVES COME ROLLING IN
YOU AND I CAN BE IN LOVE AGAIN
LET’S FIND THAT LOVE WE USED TO KNOW
LET’S GO BACK TO MEXICO.

You and I walked hand and hand
Just the two of us barefoot in the sand
Music filled the air every night
As we danced underneath the moonlight
Back at home our lives aren’t the same
And you know were both really to blame
Let’s take off our shoes throw the cell phones away
And we’ll just call in sick and both just run away

LET’S GO BACK TO MEXICO
WATCH THE SUN SETS COME AND GO
WHERE SAND SHINES JUST LIKE GOLD
AND I CAN HOLD YOU AS THE NIGHT GROWS COLD
WE’LL HEAR THE WAVES COME ROLLING IN
YOU AND I CAN BE IN LOVE AGAIN
LET’S FIND THAT LOVE WE USED TO KNOW
LET’S GO BACK TO MEXICO.

INSTRUMENTAL

REPEAT CHORUS: LET’S GO BACK TO MEXICO

LET’S FIND THAT LOVE WE USED TO KNOW
LET’S GO BACK TO MEXICO. LET’S GO BACK TO MEXICO

NO ONE NEXT TO ME

Written By: T.JAYSON MAILEE

NO ONE NEXT TO ME

Verse one Saturday morning I got up early cut the grass on my front lawn
Raked leaves, that fell off the trees
Put on my best BVD’s
Fixed my car trying to impress my blind date
Washed my shirt cleaned off the food that I ate

I stayed real cool,
So I wouldn’t look like a fool

Made a list of things I had to do
Showered, shaved, combed my hair
I wanted her to feel like she was gonna date a millionaire
Cleaned the house from top to bottom, hoping she’d fall in love with me
Put in the stereo my very favorite George Strait CD

CHORUS NOW I’VE GOT TICKETS FOR TWO, POPCORN TO GO.
AND LOT’S OF ROOM TO WATCH THIS SHOW.
MY ARM'S AROUND THE CHAIR WHERE SHE'S SUPPOSE TO BE.
NOW EVERYBODY HERE IS STARTING TO STARE
AS THEY WATCH ME TALKING TO JUST THIN AIR.
I LOOK PRETTY SILLY CUDDLING UP TO NO ONE NEXT TO ME.

Verse I checked that list over and over made sure I had everything done
Bought flowers, perfume, caviar
Rehearsed a song I wrote with my guitar.
Shinned my boots so they would sparkle
Found a Hollywood Movie premiere
Before I picked her up I even had some time to buy a case of cold beer

INSTRUMENTAL SOLO

Bridge Now on my way to go and pick her up
I thought I’d buy the tickets in advance
So I parked my car over by a Sign
That said something about a fence
And when I came out for my Chevrolet
On the back of a truck I saw it towed away
I couldn’t go pick her up for the big premiere
And I even lost my case of beer

REPEAT CHORUS …..BUT I’VE GOT TICKETS…..

I LOOK PRETTY SILLY CUDDLING UP TO NO ONE NEXT TO ME.
