Elaine Robison, a gospel music psalmist, under the leadership of Dr. D. Rayford Bell of Christ Temple Apostolic Faith Church, Inc. has ministered in song to God’s people for more than 30 years. Elaine’s main purpose is to lift up the name of Jesus and to edify God’s people through her ministry. Elaine has toured nationally and internationally, carrying the message of the gospel through her power packed music ministry. She has traveled throughout Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Mississippi, Alabama, California, New York, Virginia, Wisconsin, Louisiana, Canada, Paris and London. For three consecutive years she accepted an invitation from the U.S. Government, to perform for our troops overseas in Kosovo, Macedonia, Bosnia and Germany. Her music ministry afforded her an opportunity to be one of the lead soloists for Reverend Dan Willis and the Pentecostals of Chicago, for several years. The anointing from Jesus Christ and her lead vocals were instrumental in making “Shadrach” one of the most requested songs from the repertoire. She also sang lead on “Solid Rock” with Calvin Bridges and Chicago Praise, on their “Live in Paris” album. As a charter member of the group ENDOWED, she performed a number of selections on their album such as, “Trust Him” and “Secret Place.” She has traveled and recorded with the aforementioned groups, while yet faithfully working as a key Praise and Worship leader for her local assembly and the Chicagoland area. She has also carried her gift of praise to audiences via cable network TBN, and television broadcasts such as, Ashes to Beauty, the Bobby Jones Show, Testify and I'm Just Saying with Rev. Dan Willis, Host. She is often called, “The Bootlegging Evangelist” because of her passion to bring the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to her audiences, whenever she sings. When she sings, she ministers to the people. Elaine has hosted the Gospel Brunch for the world famous Chicago House of Blues establishment, for approximately 15 years. She also performed at the Chicago Gospel Fest in Grant Park for two years in succession. Elaine was commissioned by God to take a step out on faith as a soloist. God has so blessed her to lift up His name and minister for His glory. Her performances are encouraging, uplifting and soul stirring. Her motto is: “If I can help somebody with the words of a song, then my living will not be in vain.”
