Elana Lisa started out playing open mic nights; just her and her guitar... oh, and her 4 year old daughter that would sometimes join her in an acoustic rendition of Bobby McGee or Save your Soul (Jewel). For the past 10 years she fronted the band SteppinStone (a hard rock/blues band) but since their breakup, she has decided to go back to her roots of playing guitar and singing in an acoustic setting. Although Elana Lisa is mainly acoustic, sometimes she will go full out electric, depending on who is sitting in with her. Elana Lisa is also one of the singers in the King Edward & the BD's band; a beach music band that plays motown, soul and rock.
