"« CHAYARA »"

"L'HEBDO"

EL-BAZE has a permanent song, her voice like a cello is the colour of her gipsy soul . She sings in french and in hebrew, she sings the sand and the sky, the love and the tears, the dreams and the trips. From west to east, emotionals caravans surronded by amazing musicians… - "CHAYARA"

"el-baze"

…It smells incense and spicies, it smells friendship also. Since she is in the Arsenic theater , this place became a vibrating musical desert.
This is more than a concert, this is a real show telling the story of this great singer, born in Switzerland with her roots in Algeria, Andalousia an Israel.
This show is an amazing trip from childhood memory to tribu history. El-Baze sings in botn languages, french and hebrew , this great concert happends in th middle of hundred of candels taking you to an another world…

Bio

Born in Algeria, El Baze grows up in a Sepharadic family close to the Swiss mountains. Very fast, music and being on stage appears like an evidence for her. Her professional formation is very rich. She did it in-between Lausanne , New York, dance courses at the Alvin Ailey dance company and Jerusalem for the oriental and traditional Hebrew music.
Her references are built on jazz Sepharadic music. The music of travel and errancy is her passion. The voice of Fairuz and Noa carries her.

"No stone in that woman's heart, but a permanent singing, reflect of her gypsy and generous soul. Her voice is her instrument, linking up cosmos and earth, graceful flight or enchanting immersion".
"Her name means the falcon, falcon that flew from Andalusia to Algeria to finally arrive in Switzerland. El Baze offers us a warm show with passion and humor.
