Speaking of good music, we had Elder (who hails from Dublin) starting off the fun with his own inimitable & delightfully bluesy; country rock feel in a uniquely forlorn; uplifting yet always engaging set of music. Highlights of his 2 short sets included the touchingly reflective ballad “Spinning Wheel”; the melancholic & candid “Dark Place”; contagiously elevating “Shine” and gritty yet upbeat “Diamond”. - The Offaly Herald

There's something spiritual about Elder Roche's songs. They're simple without being simplistic. - Dan Hegarty

Nobody Knows is a very polished album from Elder. Great manly vocals and powerful storytelling songs, which bring to mind Leonard Cohen and even Neil Diamond. Elder reveals a poet’s touch in every song. Scream Inside A Bottle has all the laid back sparseness of Bonnie Prince Billy’s Lay and Love - Martin Byrnes

Elder Roche is someone I could easily describe as a truly talented individual. His performances take you on an uncensored tour of the soul. Stunning - Sinister Pete

Dublin based musician Elder Roche has been invited to take part in the North by Northeast Festival (NXNE) in Toronto Canada from the 12th to the 16th June. He will be attending several interviews and will be showcasing his debut album "Nobody Knows".

NXNE is primarily a music festival and is the no. 1 showcase for new music with past acts such as Feist, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Dinosaur Jr making breakthroughs. The event also encompasses a film festival and a music conference were musicians can meet business professionals and successful artists for mentoring and development of their craft.

Elder Roche was also privileged to play at the annual fundraiser for the Hope Foundation in the Mansion House on the 23rd June. The Hope Foundation is a charity set up to restore basic human rights to the children of Calcutta its ambassadors include Jonathan Rhys Meyers.

He began experimenting with music from the early age of eleven. He has since shared the stage with the likes of Paddy Casey, Damien Rice, Juno Falls, Juliette Turner and Damien Dempsey; playing in venues across Ireland such as Whelan's, Lillie's Bordello, The Lobby in Cork and The Glebe Amphitheatre in West Cork.

Elder Roche songs embrace the grittier side of life paving the way with slapping grooves and roots overtones. His theatrical story telling has likened him to Tom Waits, and David Bowie. Through his nationwide gigs he has established himself as an entertaining and riveting performer with a fast growing fan base.
