Electramode is Dan Smarr,bass guitar,vocals;Gary Carraway,lead,rythm guitar;Frank Swanson,drums, percussion;Chris Eckroad,vocals.Originating in Canton,Ohio,Electramode has always been about the live show ,they are one of those bands that sound as good or better live as they do in the studio.The songs are written with no particular audience in mind,but they definitely have they're own sound.You can hear influences all throughout the music,anywhere from Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin,Hendrix or The Who to U2, Pearl Jam,Soundgarden. They've come into they're own when it comes to songwriting, they've mastered the art of taking you somewhere in the music and dropping you back off before you get to bored with it.I'd rather call the songs accessible than "poppy",because there are hooks and guitar parts but they're not candy coated.They continue to play the northeast Ohio music scene but are aiming at spreading out to bigger and better shows.Catching them live is a must,but they're also a good addition to anyones playlist!
