Electric Church Foundation

Electric Church Foundation

BandAlternativeRock

ECF is a six-piece electro rock band founded in February 2007, consisting of an international contingent. They draw on those influences combining the groove of drum and bass, driving Hendrix-like riffs, pounding bass with soaring male and female vocals and a unique use of samples and effects.

Biography

With members from Ireland, Brazil, Switzerland, and the UK, ECF have created an original left field sound combining the upbeat, direct sound of Britain, the electronica scene of mainland Europe and the diverse musicality of Ireland and Brazil.

ECF have gigged intensively over the last year in Liverpool to much critical acclaim, culminating in a sell-out gig in the Zanzibar club and two gigs at the Liverpool Music Industry Event Sound City. Their live set has been described as highly energetic, electrifying and just plain fun!

As well as experimenting with music, ECF incorporate a visual aspect to their live show using backdrops of film and animation. As a band, they always bring something new to the stage.
ECF is a combination of many influences. Think Led Zeppelin meets the Chemical Brothers meets Sigur Rós.

Lyrics

Go!

Written By: Richard O'Flynn

I saw you there and then you were gone.
Call you up to find out.
I held you too long
Call you up to get out.

Well I get this,
And it’s overblown
But then I guess you know.

Think it over but it’s wrong.
Call you up to find out.
This is getting on.
Call you up to get out.

Well I get this,
And it’s overblown
But then I guess you know.

I gotta get out.

Too many minds that don’t belong.
Call you up to speak out.
Just hold on to this song.
Call you up to get out

I gotta get out.
