This is one of only 3 cd's I've ever purchased that I put in the cd player and listened top to bottom!!! The last song is now one of my very fav's. Give these guys a try if you like rock and still like to understand the words that are being sung!!! They are great! Look forward to more!

Reviewer: becka butterfly

Absolutely Brilliant from Start to Finish!
Reviewer: Michael

Man, this CD rocks. None of this two good tracks and the rest is rubbish B.S. Right from the get go you're pulled in by the rockin' "Not to Be," followed by the radio single, "Taking Away." The variety is awesome, with some hard-hitting tracks, as well as more introspective tracks, like the beautiful finale to the album, "Time 4 Me 2 Go." The lyrics are amazing, the sound quality is excellent. These guys are the real deal... end of statement!

One of the greatest CD's ever recorded!!!!
Reviewer: Karyn

The CD has great songs. Most are "bang your head along with the music" great and then you have the ballads that make you think about relationships. They made improvements over the last CD and added some great new tracks. "Taking Away" is the top song but I love "Sweet Dreams" and "You Want More".

Thank God for Something New!
Reviewer: James Kelly

This CD is probably the best CD I've heard in years... every song on this album is great, and they all sound different. Too many bands these days have songs that all sound the same... not Electric Crush. Their style is so unique and their songs are all hits. Period. - The Human Frequency

"EC - FOX NEWS (Musical Guest)"

Electric Crush Rocks FOX

Fox 7 News in Austin, TX hosted a very special musical guest today... a great new rock band named ELECTRIC CRUSH. These guys have got the whole package, looks, charisma, attitude, songs, and a killer sound. Having just returned from LA after filming their 1st musical video, this Texas based rock band rocked the FOX Studios with two songs off their upcoming album 'The Human Frequency'. The songs were catchy, the vocals were awesome, and the whole thing seemed to be wrapped up in a very sexy, "RockStar" package that is sure to please even the most fickle audience.

Bio

ELECTRIC CRUSH is a five piece 'Modern Rock' band from Texas. Their sound is reminiscent of Stone Temple Pilots, Goo Goo Dolls, Incubus, Matchbox 20, Lifehouse, Maroon 5 and U2, a commercial rock sound with a slight pop edge. Electric Crush is currently playing throughout the U.S., opening for such popular acts as Nickleback, Three Days Grace, Black Crows, Sammy Hagar, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, LIVE, Deep Purple, Default, Blue October, Steppenwolf, REO Speedwagon, Wolfmother, Black Stone Cherry, Social Burn and many others. Their dynamic live performances have helped propel the band to the forefront of rock music in Texas. A 2006 Tour of the East Coast and Canada are planned for Summer / Fall.
Their 2003 self-titled debut album ‘Electric Crush’, and their February 2005 sophomore release, ‘The Green Album’ have both sold out of their initial run and are scheduled for re-press. The bands power-packed third album, ‘The Human Frequency’ will be completed in April 2006, and will mark a milestone in the bands song writing – this CD is packed with radio hits from start to finish, breaking the mold of the one-hit wonders. The 1st single ‘Taking Away’ will be released to ‘Active Rock’ radio in September 2005, and a follow up video that was shot in Los Angeles, will be going out to video music channels sometime in May 2006. Additionally, ‘Taking Away’ will cross over to Top-40 and Hot AC stations nationwide in August 2006.
The LIVE performance, that’s what defines a great Rock Band – and EC delivers a powerful performance with all the excitement and charisma of a polished, veteran act. Lead singer Shane DiGeorge, possesses a star quality that hasn’t been seen since the likes of Bono from U2, and lead guitarist ZERO amazes fans everywhere when he performs… often resulting in a back flip off the stage and into the orchestra pit (with his guitar) – never missing a beat. Fans from across the country have been emailing and sending letters of support from Seattle to Chicago to New York, Florida, Texas, California and many points between – they’re spreading the word about ELECTRIC CRUSH through the Internet and on many websites and blogs such as MySpace.com.
ELECTRIC CRUSH made their LA debut in September 2004, where they shot the video for the 1st single ‘Taking Away” and performed live at the Highlands, on Hollywood and Highland. EC has been touring all over Texas and the Southern States since January 2005, performing 10-20 shows per month and have become very popular in Dallas, Denton, Ft. Worth, Houston, San Antonio, and Austin, selling out shows in all of these cities.
ELECTRIC CRUSH is currently working with A&M International Booking agency, as well as Don Cook Productions, planning a tour of Europe in 2007. EC is also working with Howard Rosen Promotions in Los Angeles California in support of their first single ‘Taking Away’, airing in September 2005, and their video airing in May 2006.
