Bio

A search on Wikipedia would only generate results for a gadget meant to keep burglars and animals away. This is what Electric Fence is.
Electric Fence is a Romanian project, that started in a quite averse moment of music, in a musical industry that is dominated by facile, in a very poorly scenery governed by the world financial crisis.
The band formed at the beginning of 2009 by Elena Vasile and David Ciente. The forming of the band consists of the renaming of the RAZA project, and the reorientation of their musical style. About 13 songs were written, all in English, with a relatively big success on music sites around Europe (www.sellaband.com , www.thesixtyone.com)
The fresh, energetic performances and the very inspired playlist, not to mention the lead vocal's and her colleagues' exceptional qualities, were factors that created a quite surprising and attractive image of the band, that brought them on the most important stages in Romania.
The Electric Fence concerts are a mixture of virtuosity, freshness and energy, making any person of the audience, without exception, to keep asking for more. And because the news travel fast online, Electric Fence was watchlisted and invited by organizers to play on the stages of festivals around Romania: Mosquito Festival, TImAFF, AlternaTIFF, B'EstFEST, Penninsula, where they had many positive reviews.
Also, once their music spreaded online, the band started gathering more and more listeners and fans from all around the world, even reaching some international toplists (uvumi.com chart, artistserver.com chart, reverbnation.com), and this leaded to the first proposals of radios from abroad to broadcast Electric Fence's music.
In this moment, Electric Fence finished 14 songs that will form their first album. The album will most hopefully be launched (based on negotiations with some producers outside Romania) at the end of February, or the beginning of March 2012.
