Electricity Comes From Other Planets

Electricity Comes From Other Planets

BandAlternativeRock

We love pop songs wrapped in some noise. Our main interestes are Shogaze and American Garage rock with a bit of electronica thrown in for texture. However living and playing in West Virginia a bit of the mountain bluegrass does filter in, happily too at times.

Biography

The things we rip-off the most are: Yo La Tengo, the Jesus and Mary Chain, Teenage Fanclub, Guided by Voices, the Wedding Present, Sonic Youth, Stereolab and My Bloody Valentine. It is hard to say what sets us apart, different combination or order of the same influences as others, not sure, we're not image based at all, that is something. We do focus on songs more than a "sound", so we are a little more broad.

Discography

We have one self released CD out. (through us)
and are recording another full length and maybe some split 7"s here and there. We do have 4 songs on our myspace site and have recieved a lot of good feedback on the songs and the recording.
