The Electrocult - Up To
Our Knees In Programmed Blood
(Indie)

Formerly known as The Fetish Masquerade, The Electrocult are a three-piece band from London featuring Koldar (lead guitar/backing vocals), Amos L (basss synth/guitar/backing vocals) and Waxboy (lead vocals/ase progs/bass). Their 4-track mimi CD is a fine debut of 80s-style electronica in the tradition of The Cure and Gary Numan. The songs are well crafted with some nice hooks, especially the opener, Lovesick Nation and the Bauhausian closer, Disappearing Act. - Dave Clarke B+

Bio

Electric Knife Fight was formed in November 2006 from the ashes of London Ontarios' award winning electronic rock group; The Electrocult.

The band currently lives in London Ontario and prepares to soon release their second self-produced EP; The Glass Tuxedo (of which a cassette version was already released with bonus extras in December 2006)

Electric Knife Fight have currently released an EP independently in Oct 2005, titled "Up to my knees in Programmed Blood". With the exposure and tour dates for the first EP, a loyal following has been gained that defies categorization. Electric Knife Fight was nominated for both the "Jack Richardson Music Awards" and the "London Music Awards" for the Best Electronic Band, and managed to walk away with the London Music Award for 2005.

Now with a full length album in the works, The band storms across Ontario with their lightning bolts of Rock and roll while preparing for it's early 2007 release.
