Bio

Electric VooDoo was formed in November of 2002 in Fort Payne. Alabama around then-15-year-old guitarist Reno Roberts. His father, James Roberts, was a 20-year veteran of the southern blues circuit, who had opened for such acts as Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown, Delbert McClinton, Wet Willie, and Brother Cane, and wanted to give Reno an early start into the business. James rounded up a bass player(Jason Rogers) from Section, Alabama that he had worked with in a previous band. Jason's good friend, Dillon Taylor, quickly became the full time drummer, as well. After James took an indefinate haitus and Dillon's health forced him to leave the band, Jason, Reno, who had taken over duty as lead vocalist, and newly-hired rhythm guitarist, Ryan Keef, found Katie Herron(Decatur, AL), at a club they played in Birmingham. She immediately hit it off with the band and quickly became their full-time drummer.
With James back as a permanent member, Reno still taking care of most vocals and guitar work, Katie behind the drums, and Jason still what only he can do with the low end, Electric VooDoo has a new formula for rockin' the roll and is a force to be reckoned with.
