I'm an Atlanta-based Big Room House DJ. I love the Big Room sound. I had been a life-long rap fan until one fateful night in October 2005. I heard Felix Da Housecat's Heavenly House Remix of Nina Simone's "Sinnerman" at the end of the movie "Cellular". After hearing that song, I began listening to more house music and before long, I became a permanent fan. All I listen to is House music. I love it.
Because I was in my late 20s when I discovered house, I've had a "late start" on my DJ career. But it has forced me to focus every single ounce of energy I have into developing an ear and studying to become a DJ that can solicit emotion, energy, and musical addiction.
Influences include Swedish House Mafia, Laidback Luke, Above & Beyond, Tiesto, David Guetta, Norman Doray, Sidney Samson, eSQUIRE, Michael Canitrot, Armin van Buuren, and so many others that I buy their new material without even listening to it first. These are artists that embody the sound I love, and a sound that I would like to enhance in my own musical production.
Have done numerous mashups and bootlegs and host my own house mix show "House Arrest"...coming to an Atlanta venue soon.
