Element of Sound formed in September 2007 when some members of two of Calgary, Alberta' s best known and favored original bands (Eurodog and The Last Act) joined forces to create Element of Sound. Within a month of rehearsing and writing 10 brand new songs they had secured a production deal with Jeff Martin. After a couple trips to South West Ireland to record and develop the Element of Sound Limited EP which can now be purchased on Itunes, the band is now setting its focus on building a strong fan base organically in Western Canada and beyond. Element of Sounds concept album Rock Epic “The Legacy” will be released in hard copy on June 1, 2009. Currently the band is set to release their first two Hard Rock videos on September 10, 2008 on their website www.elementofsound.com. EOS will be back in South West Ireland in April, 2009 to complete “The Legacy”.
