Bio
Elephant is a collective of nine writers, supported by the Roundhouse. The collective includes the SLAMbassadors UK 2010 winner, the current UK Poetry Slam Champion (2011-12), European Poetry Slam Champion (2011), Bang Said the Gun poet in residence (Jan 2012), London Transport Museum Slam Champion, London Transport Museum Poet-in-Residence and the Roundhouse Poetry Slam Champion (2011). The members of Elephant have a combine performance history across America, Poland, Germany, Austria, France and the UK. Including at; the House of Commons, Bestival (2011), Lounge on the Farm Festival (2010/2011), Edinburgh Fringe Festival (2011/2012), Camp Bestival, Guildhall, the Royal Festival Hall, Battersea Arts Centre, the Rose Theatre, the Roundhouse Meadowlands Festival, Tongue Fu, Zanzibar's International Film Festival and China's Academy of Art.
