Bio
ET is the birth of slop rock. Catchiness is key. Raw power and true passion bursting from every seam. A bit dirty, but clean where it should be. Dancable rhythms and funky melodies make ET a favourite at many live performances.
No one band compares exactly to the sound produced by this lovely mayhem. However, influences are a different story, and include: The Talking Heads, Ween, The Rolling Stones, The Cure, Otis Redding, Tom Jones, Beck, Sly and the Family Stone, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Frank Zappa, James Brown, Roger Miller, etc. This is new music that is always well-recieved, and by larger audiences all the time.
Elephant Train was named after an incident involving a giant elephant near a circus in St. Thomas, Ontario that was hit and killed by a train.
