Bio

Elettrofanti is an unsigned unpublished band based in Florence that was formed in early 2008.
They mix pop, rock and electronic, blending synth driven parts with electric guitars, groovy beats and killer melodies.
Through 2009 and 2010 Elettrofanti developed a distinctive personal sound, and in early 2011 they independently released the CD single "Saturday Nite" plus a very unconventional reinterpretation of the Beatles' "Eleanor Rigby". Saturday Nite was broadcasted on national and local radio frequencies and the Beatles' cover had immediate success in various Dj sets, becoming quickly a crowd favourite.
A brand new album is ready to be published since December 2011, and is full of great dance tunes and cracking melodies. The electronic style is much more definite thanks to the major and brighter use of synthesizers and groove machines, but tracks keep a pop core that makes them more accessible to a wider audience, overcoming the limitations that independent music often faces.
The lyrics deal with emotional topics like devotion to music ("Pensieri") or difficulties in social interaction ("Brucia"), they speak about splitting up ("W.o.l.f.") and falling in love ("Respiri"), they explore the desire for nihilism ("Loqusta") or again denounce the compromises and stereotypes imposed by modern society ("Saturday Nite").
The maniacal care for arrangements evolves to a new dimension in their live performances, where the spectrum of possibilities is necessarily more essential: the flavor becomes more electronic while instrumental improvisation takes place.
