"Elevation Falls - Origins"

The opening track here is a real signal of intent. As 'Goodbye To You' opens in a softer manner it is then met head on by the urgency in a formidable way. Hardened by the witch in the way this closed down there is also a presentable foray from the vocals that equally mirrors that approach. The developed showing of 'Infinite Always' has the same approach factored into the mix but doesn't repeat the same trick. Instead it goes for a more ambition approach in terms of how it all breaks down. You pick up on that from the neat nuances that also check in and it does have a steadfast rock showing that calls the shots fairly. The progression band maturity in terms of developing the sound that frames each song comes to pass smartly on 'May You be'. How things are transitioned is grounded in a way that is paramount. There is a certified development to the lyrics which also see the band up their game and deliver on that in a prominent way.

'Souls Burning' is old school. A big rock number that opens graciously by hinging everything on the lean vocal showing, things then begin to build with the layering adding to the patient derivative that bides its time well. A good interjection of pace sees it on its way. In the handling it charges through and the focus abounds as it all clocks in. Adding a fragrant Carlos Santana approach with the opening guitar riff comes 'Brought Me Down'. This brings neat flight in the acoustic guitar which pans out the sound. The reflective showing in the lyrics is clever and what is brokered off the back of the doesn't fall short. The book in the chorus does what is asked of it as well. Another song carefully built on the intro is 'Lately'. This sees them go all out with the rhetoric also reflecting the band wearing their heart on their sleeves in the style they identify with. 'Tonight' sees them out. Again the orchestration commands a harder approach. The bigger vibe to it here does draw Evanescence comparisons because it falls into that style. The prowess channelled is leveraged against a higher vocal pitch, but it works. - U&I Magazine

"Looking for some fresh over the top passionate rock?"

Looking for some fresh over the top passionate rock? Dublin quintet Elevation Falls are unleashing a bunch of arena ready songs on their new album Origins. Lead singer and resident songwriter Hazel Jade Rogers is only 19, but she has the confidence of a seasoned veteran.

Their songs follow the same pattern mostly: a gentle beginning leading up a mass of rock guitar peaks and loud vocals. The sounds of the late Seventies and early Eighties are in full force with this band, with nods to Tom Petty and Heart. Bryan Adam's Run To You solo is hinted at in Lately.

Elevation Falls won't go down in history as musical inventors, but they are perfectly capable to deliver a nice show filled with mainstream melodic rock songs. If they are lucky the crowd might notice that the lyrics deal with the state of the economy and war-stricken countries. They don't wear it on their sleeve as much, but the subtle messages might seep through. - Here Comes The Flood - Hans Werksman

TagLine: A Powerhouse Dynamic Rock Band, With Roar And Love!

About:

Formed in late 2012 by lead singer Hazel Jade at 16 years old, this young band have gone on to mature into an amazing feast of melody, rock, blues and plain old fashioned heart! Not just another same old rock band......

Hazel Jade has a unique and instantly recognisable vocal style, that can both soothe and inspire a revolution!   The two lead guitarist, Chris and Darragh flank her like an army, both consummate players, who duel and parry left and right (Chris is a left handed guitar player and Darragh right!).   Finishing with the rhythm section, currently manned by our latin section, with Alex from Spain and Gabriel from Brazil, you can be sure of some out of this world beats!  To complete the sound, we have strings, harmonica, piano and even trumpets on occasion!

Gig Summary:

Elevation Falls have travelled to Croatia for the UFO festival, UK for Indie Music Festival, HRH Rocks Festival at Sheffield O2, won Hard Rock Rising 2016 with Hard Rock Cafe (and had their songs on worldwide distribution with them). They've performed at Electric Picnic, Vantastival, Knockanstockan and many more local festivals. They've had their music used for independent film in Canada, and for a tech show on TV3.

Music:

Having just released their debut album 'What Will Be' in April 2018, we believe Elevation Falls are destined for the stadium life performing in front of thousands.  Take a listen, you'll be inspired!
