Bio

It all started with Chris's drive to be in a fun rock n roll party band. He'd already been in a bunch of bands in fits and starts, and then he found moderate success in the Rhode Island rock cover band: RED FLAG. When that project ended, he sought to create another band that played fun, high energy rock covers from the late 80s through today. He found Eddie J through an online musician board and with a week had a patchwork lineup together for a rehearsal. That lineup included the ever amazing Mike Parent on bass. As a trio, they've been together since the band's inception, but the drum stool has been something of a rotating widget. After working it's way through six different beat-masters, the band has settled on the incredible Kris Russell to hold down the beat.

And although they remain a foursome, together, they are ELEVEN — the Greater Boston area's unique rock n roll experience.

Ed Jackowski - vocals + rhythm guitar

Eddie J, started singing, performing and honing his front man skills back in the early 80's and played the local bar and college scene in the Western MA area for close to 10 years. He has shared the stage with bands likeThe Fools, Joan Jet and The Blackhearts, The Smithereens, The Sighs, and various other Pioneer Valley favorites. After taking a hiatus from the music scene, Ed has joined forces with his fellow band mates in Eleven to bring a high level of energy and fun to the stage, covering a wide array of rock covers that are sure to please. In 2009 & 2010, Ed shared the stage singing backup vocals for Chrysalis and Artemis Recording Artist Jeffrey Gaines on a few of his Boston area tour dates. An avid songwriter, Ed has won an honorable mention award in the coveted John Lennon Song Writing Contest. He still continues to write and perform original music in his spare time.

Chris Seremetis - lead guitar

Chris has been playing guitar for half his life, always seeking the perfect tone and technique. In 1985 his world was changed by the Cult’s Love album. Since then he has been a dedicated student of rock music, and has spent countless hours studying the guitar. Bringing an aggressive style to the sound of the band, Chris draws on the influences of his personal guitar gods and rock favorites to make every performance fun and full of energy. Chris has founded Eleven, along with his bandmates, to be a loud, memorable rock experience.

Mike Parent - bass

Mike Parent started playing Bass guitar at the age of 14. He's been laying down the low end on and off in various cover/original bands in the RI and MA local scene for over 25 years. Mike has a good sense of rhythm and musical knowledge. As a Berklee alum, former Bass instructor, production assistant and Studio Pros contributor Mike has gained extensive experience in many different styles of music including blues, classic rock, funk, pop, alternative, hard rock and progressive. In his spare time these days Mike is usually working on original music in his home studio.
