Something About You

Written By: Eli Harrison

The scent of seduction
Running in my head
Twelve black roses
Waiting on my bed
Take a look around me
What do I find?
A porcupine kitten
Drinking honey and wine

There's something about you baby
That makes me shine
There's something about you
I can't get you off my mind

Play me soft
Like a saxophone
A touch of breath
For a whisper and moan
I feel kinda tired
And a little bit sore
But I'll come back tomorrow
For a little bit more

There's something about you baby
That makes me shine
There's something about you
I can't get you off my mind

Neptune

Written By: Eli Harrison

Under the gaze of Neptune's eyes
He wakes to sounds of seagull cries
A warning that it's time to rise?
Or just another lullaby?
The ocean once induced his slumber
Soft, yet swift, subduing thunder
Dancing with the endless roar
He drifted to the ocean floor

Waiting was a mermaid fair
With starlight falling from her hair
A seahorse made a trusty mare
He kissed her lips; she gave him air
Irridescent waves of gold
Collided with the currents cold
Which swept them past where steam vents blow
To deeper kingdoms far below

He awakes; his heart is racing
Out of breath from all the chasing
Round and round his midnight dreams
Of mystery and mescaline
But from the hill the seabird cries
And leaning back against the tides
He sleeps again beneath the waves
Asleep, again, beneath the waves.
