Elijah Black

Elijah Black

New York City, New York, USA

We are an original Rock Band with influences from Sound Garden to Metallica, with the experience and chops that will turn any venue upside down. We take personal pride in delivering hard-hitting LIVE shows with edgy guitars, tight neck-snapping drums, rugged bass and intensely unique vocals.

Musician/Actor ELIJAH BLACK is a purist in every sense of the word. With a clear understanding of what encompasses the life and career of a rock musician, Elijah performs with
an undeniable passion every time he steps on stage.

With more than 20 years experience, Elijah began playing in college because of a required class presentation he did on The Beatles. After getting hooked on writing and performing, he released his first CD with his band Peace Tree. The CD caught the attention of Michael Belkin of Belkin Productions in Cleveland, OH and led to his first gig opening up for Cry of Love. Some time later, Elijah and his band were invited to appear on a nationally syndicated talk show to represent themselves as one of the best unsigned bands in America.

An Akron, Ohio native currently living in New York City, Elijah experienced opening for legendary rockers Motley Crue, Kings X, Styx, Neil Young, Cinderella, Ratt and Jackyl. After several national tours and numerous indie gigs, Elijah is said to be one of the hardest working musicians on the touring circuit.

Elijah’s most recent tour, sponsored by an MTV Network, was in support of his previous CD release BETTER MAN. The promotion was so successful that his video "Smile for
Me" was voted to the TOP TEN on two of the networks video shows.

Elijah recently completed his 3rd full-length solo record titled
“BAD DREAM,” which is said to be his most complete and
hardest hitting record to date. Fans can look forward to a release date of Summer 2013.

As an actor, Elijah can be seen throughout the Capital One
national commercial campaign as a Viking opposite Alec
Baldwin, and also as a Visigoth promoting NCAA March
Madness and the BCS Football tournament. He will also be
starring in two forthcoming feature films titled “The Legend of Jimi Lazer” which was filmed in Toronto during the Spring of 2012, and the psychological thriller “Shadowboxing” which filmed Summer 2012 in NYC.
