When you think of New York hip hop what comes to mind? Some people think of the grittiness of the Bronx and hip hops humble beginnings. Some think of the flash of Harlem with acts such as the Diplomats, Mase, and Diddy just to name a few. Some think of Brooklyn with legends such as Jay-z and Notorious b.i.g or even queens with Nas or 50 cent. But never would anyone think of long island as being a major player in the new York hip hop scene. But Up and coming artist Elijah McGillicuddy hailing from Roosevelt, New York is ready to put the world on notice. Elijah has been able to create his own unique sound while staying true to himself. Most artists TRY to be different and have a unique sound to make their music stand apart but Elijah have effortlessly paved his own lane and made a sound that rivals or can be compared to anyone making music right now.
